GTC has the best computer software and hardware systems for our staff of experienced programmers to transform a digital design into a physical part. Our team is skilled at creating the right tool paths for parts that need heavy roughing cuts for stock removal or very light finishing passes to minimize heat and distortion while holding tight dimensions and special surface conditions.
Simulation of machining processes verifies the expected results. Program edits and critical offsets established at the CNC machine are captured and shared with the programming department to keep the master program up to date and improve future programming.
Programs for computer-controlled measuring machines are also expertly prepared, and inspection results are fed back to the system for analysis and refinement of machining techniques. We use Siemens NX (Unigraphics), SolidWorks, ICAM, PC-DMIS, Origin Checkmate and Renishaw Productivity Plus, to name a few of the software tools at our command.
