Captain Frank Stewart Highlights The Importance of “GTC’s Mission”

On August 26th, retired Nuclear Submarine Captain Frank Stewart, addressed GTC employees on the critical role that our Submarines play in keeping the world’s commerce flowing freely and safely. During his career, Stewart captained 3 subs, including the nuclear missile ship, SSBN 730, Henry Jackson. Frank described the variety of tasks and missions that Submarines perform and also provided details on the workings of these critically important and amazing vessels. 

Capt. Stewart compared his crew’s tasks to ours’ at GTC, citing the importance of always following the prescribed processes and achieving the mission’s goals by having the right training and culture for the crew. A great BBQ lunch from “Mission BBQ” followed the event.
