Program and operate CMM and use of measuring equipment for inspection of complex Aerospace and Defense components and assemblies.
Work cooperatively with co-workers, supervision and customers
Inspect castings, forgings, fabrications, assemblies and machined components
Analyze blueprints or engineering specs for required information (specified material, surface finishes and dimensions, GD&T)
Verify that all signoffs of previous operations are performed and write inspection and test reports.
Experience with precision measuring instruments including precision hand tools, gages, calipers, micrometers and CMM
Programming in MODUS CMM software
Strong GD&T knowledge and application
Advanced math skills (algebra, trigonometry and geometry)
5 years related experience in a contract manufacturing environment
Ability to pass an eye examination (Jaeger 1 at 12" with corrective lenses and the Ishihara Color Blindness Test)
An Associate Degree in Quality or Manufacturing is a plus
