GTC earns Collaboration Award from Raytheon

At the 2014 Supplier Awards Conference held on May 27, 2015, General Tool Company received the Bronze collaboration award for the critical fabrications and machined structures for the Patriot, Tipi 2, and Seapower divisions for 2014-2015.
Out of over 11,000 suppliers, Raytheon selects the top 2% of companies as its best subcontractors
These parts were described by the Manager of Raytheon Supplier Quality, as “some of the most difficult we manufacture.” General Tool received scores of 97.2 for delivery and quality on the Raytheon Supplier scorecard. After a slow start on these parts, General Tool put together a team to manage the Mark 48 Torpedo purchase order from QA, Project Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing. Bill Kramer, CEO, commented: “The collaboration from the initial kickoff meeting and the subsequent follow up by everyone was the key to our success here. We look forward to building on this for new Raytheon projects.”
